Week 5 term 3 update

Dear parents/caregivers

I have to give a big thank you to room 2 for helping me host the Kakano assembly!! You were great! I felt very proud to see the students present their work and the recorder performance with so much confidence.

I will be uploading a video of them practicing as well as their performance at assembly.

I will also be uploading some writing that students have done during the last 2 weeks as they have all been working super hard to meet the success criteria.

Just a reminder that on the 31st of August (Monday) is teacher only day.

CBD trip!

Dear parents and caregivers.

On Friday we went on our trip to the museum and Imagination station.  We had so much fun investigating so buildings, machinery and how to build different objects with legos.  When we created our objects during our session at the imagination station we had to use lots of team work and resilience.  During our time in the museum we had the chance to have a look at how people can use waste material to create furniture.  The students had lots of fun playing with the puppets as well.

All together we had a great day!! Thank you to those parents who helped out on the day, you were of great help!!
